AZOVSTAL. The voices
“Azovstal. Voices” is a volunteer theater project about the defense of Mariupol, created by independent Kyiv artists in the summer of 2022. It tells the story of those who fought not only for themselves, but for the future of each of us, for freedom, and for the right to live on their own land. Their example has become a legend that will remain in our hearts forever.
This inspiring story of the defense of Azovstal is composed of heartfelt monologues reflecting on the core spiritual values of every human being: Life, Freedom, Hope, and Love! Each episode of the performance is imbued with love for the homeland, unwavering faith, and incredible strength of spirit.
Today, many of our heroes are in captivity, but their resilience and will to live remain unbroken. They are a symbol of hope for all of us. We believe that every one of them will one day feel the embrace of their loved ones and see a free and peaceful Ukraine. They are our heroes, our pride, our unbreakable warriors of light.
This performance is not only an artistic event but also an act of support for our soldiers and their families. Let us become the voices of those who cannot speak for themselves today. Speak to everyone who can hear you! Speak to the world!”
